Forest Groups specialist designed EPS Bead

The consistent size, shape and density of our specialised EPS bead ensure our Polybed range of products are produced completely surrounded in EPS bead to give an improved void ratio of 40% against traditional heavy aggregate methods as tested by WRC (Water Research Centre)

As with all of our drainage products the specialised EPS bead used in Polybed carries the same filtration and chemical and contaminant retention characteristics and therefore provides cleaner discharged water from our Polybed systems

Qualities and Applications

The load bearing capability of Polybed has been rigorously tested by The University of Nottingham’s Transportation Engineering Centre (NTEC) which concludes it is equal to if not better than aggregate methods

Used in a variety of underground drainage applications such as filter fields, soakaways, retaining wall, french drain, land drain, septic tank and sewerage treatment, stormwater and SUDs related schemes
